Bermuda Students Invited To PwC Reception

July 21, 2015

PwC Bermuda is hosting a careers reception for students on Wednesday, July 22 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club.

“PwC is celebrating being ranked the world’s second most attractive employer for business students in Universum’s annual World’s Most Attractive Employer ranking – second only to Google,” the company said.

“Students currently attending or considering university and looking to pursue a career in professional services are invited to learn more about the firm. They can discover the opportunities open to them through the HeadStart initiative and talk informally to the firm’s professionals, including its leaders, about a career with PwC.

“Career options available at PwC include associates, co-ops and summer intern programmes as well as the firm’s scholarship awards.”

David Gibbons, PwC Bermuda Managing Director and HeadStart programme leader, said: “PwC Bermuda is committed to developing dynamic and talented young Bermudians to their full potential. The firm’s HeadStart programme is not only about becoming an accountant. Our interns are given a high level of responsibility, have the opportunity to effect real change and also build their personal brand.”

The HeadStart programme offers student interns training, client engagements, coaching and development, and community involvement opportunities.

“If students perform well, there is the potential that they can secure a full-time position with PwC,” Mr Gibbons added. “This allows students to focus on university life knowing a fulltime career is secured.”

If you would like to attend the reception please contact Kelly DiVuolo at 299-7158 or Kelly.DiVuolo@bm.pwc.com. You can find out more about HeadStart at www.pwc.com/bermudacareers
