Green & Blue Routes: Ferry Delays This Evening
The Department of Marine and Ports said they would like to advise the public that due to mechanical related issues they are experiencing ferry service delays of approximately 20 minutes on both Green and Blue routes this evening [July 21].
“The Department of Marine and Ports apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause,” a spokesperson said.

Why can’t these Public Vessel be serviced at night so that any chance of malfunctioning are, “slim and next to none?” We see this as an ongoing event, especially when the boats are most needed e.g. transporting to and fro,(Hamilton to West End / St. George’s)there are many locals as well as countless tourist who are inconvenienced by the, “delays” or cancellation.
As the old say goes, “If you cant stand the heat get out of the kitchen.” Maybe it’s time to privatize this service…
