Are there any intermediate sprint locations, or “just” a 100km race to the finish?

    • David McComas says:

There are no intermediate sprints in this race, but that’s an interesting idea. If we can get more people out watching so that sponsorship grows we’d be able to introduce features like intermediate sprints and KOMs and put some prize money behind them. This should bring out more international participation and give added excitement to the races.

  2. Observer says:

Look for a hard man like Mark Lombardi to win, or maybe an up and comer like Manuel Lonfat. If McComas sits around like usual and isn’t forced to work he may also take the win. Richardson needs to be smart to have a chance and stay off the front/not chase down breaks. He needs his teammates to do the chasing. Winner’s Edge should burn out young legs like Oliveira and Hopkins in order to put someone with a bit more endurance, such as Hatherley, in contention.

    • David McComas says:

My prediction is that Dominique will win. Good luck to the “hard men” and those with “endurance” who don’t “sit around as usual”. I’d love to hear your analysis of the Madison RR, Grand Prix, the national championships, and our last race so I can replace my memory of what actually occurred with your observations.
