Regiment Alumni Band “Give Back” Concert

August 18, 2015

Alumni of the Band and Corps of Drums of the Bermuda Regiment invite the Bermuda public to join them from 4:00pm on Sunday, August 30, 2015, in Victoria Park, Hamilton, for a Give Back Concert as part of the Bermuda Regiment’s Fiftieth Anniversary celebrations.

Held under the auspices of the Bermuda Regiment 50th Anniversary [BR50] Committee, the concert will feature the specially assembled Bermuda Regiment Alumni Band, The Blues Beat Band, and the wonderful vocal talents of Regiment stalwart Chauncey Durham, Sr., in the picturesque setting of Victoria Park, around the Bandstand.

BR50 Committee member and concert organiser, Maj [Ret] Leslie Lowe said: “It is a thrill for us to bring together the Bermuda Regiment Band Alumni to present this free concert to the people of Bermuda. The event was independently conceived and developed by the Alumni as a way to ‘give back’ to the Regiment, in celebration of its Fiftieth Anniversary.”
