Blue Capital Global Re Management Changes
In a filing with the Bermuda Stock Exchange [BSX], Blue Capital Global Reinsurance Fund Limited announced that that Mr. William Pollett has resigned from Blue Capital Management Ltd effective as of 12 August 2015.
The filing stated “The board of directors of Blue Capital Global Reinsurance Fund Limited announces that it has been informed by Blue Capital Management Ltd. [BCML], the Company’s investment manager, that Mr. William Pollett has resigned from BCML effective as of 12 August 2015, following the completion of the merger between Montpelier Re Holdings Ltd. and Endurance Specialty Holdings Ltd.. Mr. Pollett has also resigned from all of his former executive positions and directorships with Montpelier and its subsidiaries.
“The Investment Manager also announced that Adam Szakmary has been promoted to Chief Executive Officer and Portfolio Manager of the Investment Manager. Mr. Szakmary has held the role of Portfolio Manager since the Company’s launch in November 2012.”
