August 25, 2015

Appearing in Magistrates Court, a 63-year-old Sandys resident denied stealing T-bone steaks from Marketplace as well as robbing a special person of the $440 in Financial Assistance that the person had just withdrawn from a cash machine.

Eugene Anderson pleaded not guilty to stealing five trays of T-bone steaks valued at $75 from the Marketplace in Hamilton and also pleaded not guilty to robbing a Special Person of the $440 in Financial Assistance that the person had just withdrawn from a cash machine; and using violence and threats in committing that robbery.

Both incidents were alleged to have occurred in August 2015.

Magistrate Dennis Chin granted bail on the alleged theft charge and set that trial for October, and also granted bail for the alleged robbery charge and set that trial for November.
