Day 2 Results: Caribbean Squash Championship

Day Two of the 2015 Senior Caribbean Squash Championships [CASA] saw action resume in the Cayman Islands.

In Men’s CASA Individual Quarter-Finals action number one seed Chris Binnie from Jamaica defeated Noah Browne in three games 11-8, 11-8, 12-10, while the number two seed Sunil Seth from Guyana defeated Micah Franklin in a five set battle 5-11, 11-4, 11-6, 5-11, 12-10.

Both Browne and Franklin moved into the Men’s CASA Individual Consolation Semi-Finals were they both won and will meet in the Final. Browne defeated Mandela Patrick from Trinidad and Tobago 11-5, 9-11, 11-6, 11-4, while Franklin defeated Bruce Burrowes from Jamaica 6-11, 11-5, 11-4, 11-6.

Runa Reta advanced to the Women’s CASA Individual Final, after she won her Quarter-Final match defeating Akeila Wiltshire from Guyana 11-2, 11-1, 11-6, she then won her Women’s Semi-Final defeating another player from Guyana Ashley Khalil 11-3, 11-5, 11-9.

In an all Bermuda Women’s CASA Individual Consolation match Rachel Barnes defeated Emma Keane 11-8, 8-11, 13-11, 12-10, Barnes would play a Consolation Quarter-Final match going down to Jackie Geils from Cayman Islands 11-5, 9-11, 11-6, 11-8.
