Hamilton Parish Council Awards Scholarships
The Hamilton Parish Council [HPC] recently awarded scholarships totaling $10,000 to assist the awardees in furthering their studies.
A spokesperson said, “The Hamilton Parish Council [HPC] is pleased to announce that London Steede-Jackson has been awarded a $5,000 scholarship to further his studies in Sports Management at Thomas College.

“The HPC has also awarded a $2,500 bursary to Christina Arden and Ashley Ming. Christina is studying Health Sciences at the University of Bristol and Ashley is studying Teacher Training at Georgia State University.
“This is the second year that the HPC has awarded scholarships and bursaries, and efforts are underway to ensure that 2016 is equally successful.
“Applications are open to undergraduate students, residing in Hamilton Parish, who have completed at least one year at an accredited university or college. You can learn more about the Scholarship Program by going on to the HPC website at www.hamiltonparish.bm.”
