Immigration Reminder: Check Passport Dates
The Department of Immigration said they “would like to remind the public to please check the expiration date on their passports to ensure that they are current and have not expired or are nearing expiration.
“If they have expired, the Department suggests individuals move to make arrangements to have them renewed as soon as possible,” a spokesperson said.
“Additionally, it should be noted that requests for express passports, until further notice, will only be accepted in cases where bona fide medical emergencies have been determined and accepted as such by the Department.
“In cases of medical emergency, documentation from a medical practitioner should accompany the request.”
