Court: 28-Year-Old Man Pleads Guilty To GBH

September 12, 2015

Appearing in Magistrates Court on Friday [Sept 11], a 28-year-old man pleaded guilty to causing grievous bodily harm to another man on 8th August 2015.

The Crown Prosecutor told Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo that Janos Lindsay had gone to KEMH, which is where the victim worked.

He had gotten the man to agree to go into a nearby bathroom in order that the pair might discuss a matter, and once in the bathroom, Mr Lindsay had attacked the man and fractured his jaw.

The Court heard that the defendant was subsequently arrested at the airport.

The Magistrate ordered a Social Inquiry Report, set sentencing for 2nd November, and set bail at $3,000 with the condition that there was to be no contact between Mr Lindsay and the victim.
