BPS: Recent Spate Of Breaking & Entry Reports

The police are advising the public of a recent spate of breaking and entry reports in Warwick and Southampton, saying that many are taking place during the day and as such, police are advising the public to “be on the look out for suspicious individuals lurking around homes.”

A police spokesperson said “The Bermuda Police Service would like to advise the public of a recent spate breaking and entry reports in Warwick and Southampton specifically in the areas of Middle Road, the Lighthouse Hill area, also houses on the surrounding the Railway trail.

“It should be noted that many of these events are taking place during the day and as such, police are advising the public to be on the look out for suspicious individuals lurking around homes.

“Also we are advising the public to leave your home secure at all times, secure all valuables in a home safe or safety deposit box and cut back overgrown trees and bushes close to the house. For more crime prevention advice visit our website at www.bermudapolice.bm under Crime Prevention Information.”
