33-Year-Old Man Arrested After “Brief Struggle”
Following a “brief struggle with police,” a 33-year-old man was arrested this morning [Oct 14] in connection with a “spate of confrontational burglaries” that have taken place in the last week.
A police spokesperson said, “A 33-year-old Southampton man has been arrested this morning after a brief struggle with police in connection with a spate of confrontational burglaries that have taken place at various locations around the island in the last week.
“A full investigation into burglaries are now underway and a court appearance is expected in the near future.
“Police are still appealing for anyone who may have any information on these burglaries to contact CID on 2950011. Also, for crime prevention information please check our website at www.bermudapolice.bm”
It would be a shame if he accidently tripped and broke his ankle, broke his jaw, broke a rib and disclocated his arm wouldn’t it.
If it’s the right person, he deserves what ever happens to him.
Sounds like you’d enjoy living in Saudi/North Korea/Other places where the rule of law has less of an emphasis on innocent until proven guilty.
I said it would be a “shame” if the poor misunderstood allegedly violent allegedly armed alleged robber accidently tripped. Heartbreaking.
People no longer have any empathy left for people like this alleged robber. Times are too tough to give a rats ass about such an alleged criminal.
