Basketball League: Twister & Court Kings Win
The 2015/16 Cellone Island Basketball League Season continued with a double-header inside the CedarBridge Gymnasium with 170 points scored on the night.
The opener saw the Twister remain undefeated at 4-0 by recording a 45-43 victory over the Flyboys.
Kevin Stephens led all scorers with 22 points to lead the Twisters to victory, while Jeren Hailey scored 10 points for the Flyboys, who are 2-2 on the season.
The second game saw the Court Kings get back to winning ways by defeating the winless Hoopstars 43 – 39. Jamie Percell scored 12 points for the Court Kings and Yontz Sutton scored a game high 21 points for the Hoopstars.
