Basketball: Crossfire Ballers & Twisters Win
The 2015/16 Cellone Island Basketball League Season continued inside the Cedarbridge Gymnasium with a double-header that produced 180 points on the night.
The first game saw the Crossfire Ballers record a win over the Court Kings 42- 27, Murcus Robinson led the Crossfire Ballers with 14 points, while the Court Kings were led by Kellen Beckem with 6 points.
The night cap game saw the Twisters win their first game of the new season with a 49 – 43 over the Rimrockers, Kevin Stevens scored 13 points for the Twisters, while Shannon Thompson scored a game high 14 points for the Rimrockers.
