Advisory: One Way Traffic On Harbour Road

The Ministry of Public Works said they would like to advise the motoring public of the following changes to Harbour Road for the Louis Vuitton America’s Cup World Series Races that will be in effect from 1 pm until 4 pm, Saturday, October 17th and Sunday, October 18th.

A spokesperson said, “One-way traffic will be in effect on Harbour Road between Manse Road and Stowe Hill for vehicles travelling towards Hamilton.

“One way traffic will also be in effect on ‘The Lane’ between Stowe Hill and North Roundabout for traffic travelling towards Hamilton. No traffic therefore will be permitted to travel away from Hamilton on Harbour Road and The Lane between North Roundabout and Manse Road.

“Parking will be permitted on the north side [water side] of Harbour Road between Manse Road and Lovers Lane. Parking will not be permitted on Manse Road and either side of Chapel Road. Drivers are reminded that the Road Traffic Act 1947 prohibits the parking of vehicles on sidewalks.”
