“Hamilton was founded with a focus on using technology to transform how business is done,” said Hamilton Re CEO Kathleen Reardon,

“Through our charitable giving, we look for initiatives that hone our young people’s skills in this regard. They’re our future workforce and will need these skills to be competitive in the digital age we’re living in.

“Endeavour, with its grounding in STEM learning, is a natural fit with Hamilton, and we look forward to our partnership with its organizers and the students involved in this exciting and innovative programme.”

Hamilton joins sponsors Butterfield, Orbis and PricewaterhouseCoopers in supporting the Endeavour programme, which provides sailing experiences for local students aged 9 to 12 years old.

The experiential learning programme leverages sailing and the America’s Cup to expose students to STEM [Science, Technology, Engineering, Math] studies. The Endeavour curriculum includes a broad range of modules from health and nutrition to the math and physics behind sailing and yacht design.
