Silver Whisper Cruise Ship Arrives In Hamilton

The Silver Whisper cruise ship sailed into Hamilton today [Oct 28] carrying an estimated 369 passengers and 295 crew. The ship, an occasional visitor to Bermuda, is one of two cruise ships scheduled to visit Hamilton this month, with the Regatta also set to arrive on Friday. Hamilton is also set to receive two more cruise ship visits this year, with the Adonia scheduled to visit next month, and the Ocean Princess due to visit in December.

    Here’s evidence that there are small Ocean-liners sailing the Atlantic and just maybe we can have them visit the Port of St. Georges also come next year?

      We’re lucky they stop here at all. Most ships just keep chugging across the Atlantic.

      They’re gonna get off the ship,walk across the road,go in the stores,look at the prices,turn around and walk back on the ship.

    We are still fortunate to have the Veendam leave Boston to Hamilton next year. The Balmoral docked at our hometown at Salem, MA this September.

    Ships have been sailing across the Atlantic since Columbus Crossed the Atlantic and Sir George Somers and Juan Dez Bermudez….discovered this Island before we had a Tourism Authourity.Lets stop fronting and get the lead out an do some real Business and stop making excuses that the Public are not buying.All Parties Concerned.

    It is not going to change by mere happenstance….it has to happen by us negotiating and inviting and welcoming them to Bermuda …lazy bones sitting in the sun ….how do you expect to get the days work done……..?
