Bermuda’s Top 50 Twitter List For Oct 2015

You can now use polls on Twitter. The new feature was rolled out at the end of October as another way to help spark engagement.

That’s the good news — the bad is you are only allowed to give two choices for people to respond to.

I tried it out with this question: How often do you tweet in a day? The choices were four or less or five or more.

People have 24 hours to respond before the poll closes. In the above case, 67% of the respondents said five or more.

On the Bermuda Top 50 Twitter List, @HappyMeBermuda profile was missing and was not included. Webster Butler, News of Bermuda and Walt E Bobs were the biggest gainers for the month of October.

Mr. Butler moves from 17th to 13th with a gain of nearly 2,000 followers. News of Bermuda went from 34th to 28th and Walt E Bobs, Bermuda’s most famous cat, jumped from 47th to 43rd.

WWE and FOX news commentator John Layfield remains number one and had the largest gain of the month with 6,000 followers.

The rest of the top five remain the same: America’s Cup, Collie Buddz, Dudley Freedom and Oracle Team USA.
