2015 Harness Pony Racing Season Continues

The Harness Pony Racing season continued this weekend at the National Equestrian Center on Vesey Street.

In the opening race of the evening Double Time with Philip Correia in the bike won the 1:12 & Slower Time Bar race with a time of 1:12&4, while Reel Patrol with Cameron Harris finished second in 1:13 flat and recording a time of 1:14 flat was the third place finisher Inwood’s Progress with Christian Truran in the bike.

Race two featured the younger members of the club battling it out in the 1:06/1 – 1:087/1 Time Bar Class. Lucas Bridges in the bike of Colonel’s Maestro finished first with a time of 1:08&3, A Touch of Red and Ryan Manders was second in 1:09 flat and Approved Credit with Kiwon Waldron in the bike clocking a time of 1:09&3.

    When are u’lot going to enlarge that track? I along with countless others would love to see a course large enough to allow more ponies to compete as oppose to the low numbers presently…
