Junior & Senior Division Netball League Results
The Annual Harold “Doc” Dowling Tournament kicked off the Bermuda Netball Association’s Junior Season at Bernard Park.
The day opened with a shooting competition, North Village Lady Rams player Gabriella Romainey won the Under 12 Division with her teammates picking up the team title.
In the Under 14 Division the Netts Greens player Elishae Smith won the individual title, with the North Village Lady Rams wining the team title. Demiqua Daniels from the Junior Ladies won the Individual Under 16 title with her team winning the team title.
In the Tournament, the North Village Lady Rams went undefeated in all three categories.
Under 12 [5 teams]
Double elimination saw the North Village Lady Rams come out on top, defeating the Baby Blazzin’ in the Final 3-0.
Under 14 [4 teams]
Round robin matches saw the North Village Lady Rams undefeated winning with 6 points, the Netts Whites had 3 points, while the Netts Greens had 1 point and the Young’uns ended with 0 points.
Under 16 [3 teams]
The North Village Lady Rams drew 6-6 with Junior Ladies which was followed by a 11-2 win against the Netts Whites. The Netts Whites defeated the Junior Ladies 9-4, as the North Village Lady Rams walked away with 3 points to win their Division.
Senior League
Family defeated Robin Hood 41 – 28 in the opener, Rose Sanders led Family with 22 goals, while Antionette Rabain added 12 goals and Diara Benjamin scored 7 goals, Charlotte Moseley scored 20 goals for Robin Hood, while Taliah Lucas added 8 goals.
Fam went down 53 – 16 to Lady, FAM got 6 goals from Chanara Smith-Rookes, Zakiah Lewis chipped in with 5 goals, Amali Smith added 4 and Donnauri Robinson scored once. Danielle Raynor led Lady to victory scoring 31 goals, Ebonie Burgess added 14 goals and Arkeita Fubler scored 8 goals.
The North Village Lady Rams capped off a good day recording a 40 – 33 win over Blazzin’. The North Village Lady Rams got 20 goals from both Xanaye Trott and Jahtuere Trott, while Blazzin got 27 goals from Kendrea Romaine and 6 goals from Akeylah Hendrickson.
