Photos: XL Catlin Christmas Tree Contest In Mall

[Updated with photos] The annual XL Catlin Charity Christmas Tree event is taking place in the Washington Mall, with the public invited to see 11 trees and their decorations, most of them handmade by students from the island’s government primary schools.

This year there are 13 schools competing for the grand prize of a $2,500 donation, a second prize of a $1,000 donation, and a third prize of a $750 donation, along with a People’s Choice Award of a $1,500 prize, with the public invited to select their favorite. Voting for the People’s Choice Award ends on December 16, with the winner to be announced on December 21.
