Basketball League: Flyboys & Twisters Win
The Cellone Island Basketball League Season continued inside the CedarBridge Academy with 256 points scored.
In the opener it saw the Flyboys take on Rimrockers, with the Flyboys coming away with a 63 – 56 win moving their record for the season to 11-2 and Rimrockers are now 5-7.
Keiron Burgess scored a game high 19 points for the Flyboys, while the Rimrockers got 18 points from Ronnie Bushner.
In the second game of the night saw the 11 – 1 Twisters take on the 4 – 8 Crossfire Ballers which needed Over Time to get a winner with the Twisters coming out 70 – 67 winners and moving to a record of 12-1 and give the Crossfire Ballers their 9th loss.
Kevin Stephens continues to light up the league with a game high 27 points for the Twisters, while Crossfire Baller got 17 points from Jahmal Scott.
