Code 441 To Hold Second Annual Hackathon

December 16, 2015

Code 441, a non-profit organization that seeks to inspire and teach the next generation of young Bermudians in the world of STEM technology, engineering and business, is getting set to host Bermuda’s second annual Hackathon.

A spokesperson said, “We’re back this year for the second annual Hackathon. Last year we taught over 70 students the fundamentals of computer programming and they were able to create personal websites of their own within a day.

“This year we plan to do even bigger things and have some surprises in store at the event. The hackathon will take place at XL Catlin again [1 Bermudiana Road, Hamilton] starting at 10.00am. Please sign up here.

“We hope to see you soon and if you have any questions please feel free to reach out.”

Code 441, my kid would love to participate but your scheduling so close to Christmas means that we, like many others, will be travelling. I hope it is a good event nonetheless and that you can hold future events at alternative times.
