BYO Partners With RBR For Carol Concert

December 10, 2015

The Bermuda Youth Orchestra [BYO] has partnered with the Band and Corps of Drums of the Royal Bermuda Regiment [RBR] for their fall/winter concerts, with a free performance set to take place tomorrow [Dec 11] on Queen and Reid Street beginning at 7.00pm.

A spokesperson said, “This is a relationship which is in it third iteration and one which has worked well for both organizations.

“This year, we invite you to attend our annual performance on Friday evening, December 11 on Queen and Reid Street. This will be a Carol Concert and will be the final event of the Regiment’s 50th Anniversary Celebration.

“Also joining will be the Bermuda Philharmonic Society, the Bermuda Chamber Choir, the Bermuda Islands Pipe Band and some members of the Somerset Brigade Band.

“This is a free open-air concert and will begin at 7:00pm, lasting for about an hour. Come and hear some of your holiday favourites playing in the open air. Sing along with the choir and have a “Hallelujah” time at the end.

“Bring a chair and a blanket and take up your favourite viewing spot. Looking forward to seeing you all there.”
