Four People Arrested For Drug Offences

Police have made four drug-related arrests recently, with a 66-year-old Bermudian man arrested after he was found allegedly importing drugs to the island, and three other people, including two men and one woman, were arrested following the execution of a search warrant.

A police spokesperson said, “Police can confirm that, as a result of diligent border patrol by HM Customs, a 66-year-old Bermudian man has been arrested and is now assisting police with inquiries after he was found importing drugs to the island.

“A full investigation into this matter is now underway and a court appearance is expected in due course.

“Meantime, after executing a warrant at a residence on South Terrace/Deep Dale area on Friday, a quantity of controlled drugs were seized and two men and one woman were arrested and a full investigation into this matter is now underway.”
