Police: Man’s Death In Warwick Not Suspicious

[Updated] The Bermuda Police Service along with first responders attended the Bulkhead Drive, Warwick area shortly after 8.00pm this evening [Dec 27] after a report of an unresponsive male was received.

Police Inspector Troy Glasgow said the man “was in his sixties and the circumstances which led to his demise were not suspicious.”

Update 11.35pm: A police spokesperson said, “Around 8:15pm on Sunday 27-Dec-2015, police and first responders attended a report of a man found in an unresponsive state outside of a residence in the Bulkhead Drive Warwick area.

“A 61 year-old Warwick man was pronounced dead by a physician at the scene.

“The full circumstances surrounding the man’s death are not known at this time, however initial enquires suggest that the man’s death does not appear to be suspicious.

“No further information will be given until the next of kin has been notified.”

Update Dec 28, 4.12pm: A police spokesperson said, “Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 61 year-old Ivan Sinclair Jones.

“Mr. Jones’ lifeless body was found in an unresponsive state outside of a Bulkhead Drive residence shortly after 8:00pm on Sunday. The circumstances surrounding his death do not appear to be suspicious. The Bermuda Police Service extends our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Ivan Jones.”
