Junior National Clay Court Championship Day #1
The 2015 Bermuda Junior Clay Court Championships got underway at the Coral Beach & Tennis Club with three matches played in the 12 & Under Division serving things off.
Kallan Richardson defeated Brandon Mederios in straight games 4-2, 4-2, while Sebastian Smith defeated Rupert Lunn in straight games 4-1, 4-1.
In 14 & Under Boy’s Group A action Tego bean defeated Scott Redmond 6-1, 6-2, while Kairo Morton defeated Jaire Salaam-Lawrence in a three set battle in 14 & Under Boy’s Group B action. Morton won the first set 7-6, but Salaam-Lawrence would win the second set 6-4. The third and final set saw Morton win comfortably 6-2.
