2016 Agricultural Show Catalogue Now Available

The 2016 Agricultural Show catalogue is now available for download, with this year’s event set to take place from April 14 – 16 at the Botanical Gardens.

AG Show Ltd. said, “This year’s theme ‘Bermuda Homegrown’ aims to bring the show back to its original roots. The catalogue provides an all-inclusive reference guide for all the divisions and sections that the public can enter. It features 13 different divisions and more than 1,000 different types of entries.

“The 2016 catalogue also includes entry forms for the poultry, rabbits and cavies and general entry forms. Close of entries for the junior art competition is March 1st, equestrians March 11 and general entries March 18.”

Antwan Albuoy President of the AG Show Ltd said “ I am very excited about this year’s Bermuda Agricultural Show. In addition to the launch of the catalogue applications to operate a concession stand will be available on Friday. Interested persons are encouraged to send an email to vendors@theagshowbda.com to obtain more information.

“We encourage the entire community to sign up to participate in this year’s show in some capacity. Whether it’s being a participant in the Agricultural Show, being a vendor or a volunteer, there are numerous opportunities for all of Bermuda to participate.

“Individuals who are interested in volunteering for this year’s Show, can visit our Facebook page AG Show Bermuda to find how they can volunteer.”

There is also an opportunity for persons to perform at the lower ring. David Lopes, Chairman of AG Show Ltd, stated “This year we decided to have all local entertainment and we are looking for local performers to come on out and perform over the three days.

“If you are a musician, singer, dancer or love to entertain please contact our show secretary at secretary@theagshowbda.com who will put you in contact with our entertainment committee.”
