  2. Nanny Pat says:

Good job BPS. Now can someone tell me what the “Misuse of Drugs” act is? That sounds ridiculous. “Misuse” of drugs? As in “they were not used properly?”

    • inna says:

      Correct.

You couldve also just Google’d it, the power of the internet is astounding!

      • Nanny Pat says:

Ok then please explain what the “proper” use of illegal drugs looks like? How does one go about “properly” using illegal drugs?

        • hmmm says:

You were trying to be a comedian, you failed Nanny Pat.

Narcotics can be found in prescribed medication …that is a proper use…if you go to hospital and are in severe pain you get morphine…that is a proper use and approved application.

          • Nanny Pat says:

Prescribed drugs from a hospital are LEGAL drugs. We aren’t talking about LEGAL drugs here, moron.

            • Lucy says:

No need to be so rude.. the code says Misuse of Drugs not Misuse of legal drugs so that means some drugs are used legally as was explained like prescriptions etc and others illegal. you can also misuse legal drugs by stealing them and selling them on the streets and other ways.

              • sage says:

Cigarettes and alcohol are drugs and any use of either is misuse since neither have benefits, they both kill millions of our fellow humans, yet they are legal and actually encouraged by the authorities who facilitate, and profit off of, their importation knowing full well the damage and costs incurred. You hypocritical sheep try asking more pertinent questions.

        • Keepin' it Real!...4Real! says:

First of all there is NO such thing as an illegal substance…They intentionally produced these substances for their abilities to address certain functions ranging from the preservation of life right down to the destruction of life therefore it needs to be controlled hence the phrase “controlled substance”…its not illegal for them to handle it how ever they see fit…but don’t YOU do it because then and ONLY then does it become illegal…you can commit crimes all day everyday you’re NOT a criminal UNTIL you get caught…understand me now, don’t get me wrong.

    • rhonda says:

Because codeine a legal drug that contains some of the same elements as cocaine. Therefore a legal substance can be misused

    • Triangle Drifter says:

Must be something like unlawful assault. What would lawful assault be?

  3. bout time says:

About time! I live in the neighbourhood in Paget that got raided. The house in question has people coming and going day and night, with dozens of bikes in the yard, boat motors and dogs barking all hours of the night and day. WE for years have been held hostage in our own neighbourhood by the people in that house as this has been going on for years. There is no one more happy than the people in the neighbourhood we were all very excited and hope this time it sticks.

    • Anon Ymous says:

If you see something, say something – seems you could have put an end to it ‘years’ ago.

      • paget resident says:

The residents have spoken up time and time again
The police have raided on numerous occasions but nothing ever happens. it is quiet for a couple of days and then the open for business light is back on and the traffic flows again.

    • Kathy says:

This is the kind of proactive commitment we want to see from our police service…working together with the community to stamp out drugs and illegal activity from our neighbourhoods!

Can we do the whole island please???

  4. Bermuda says:

    Great job BPS

  5. Family Man says:

Not surprising to find pit bulls in the same residence with drugs. They make vicious guard dogs.

    • Iggrunce says:

They also make wonderful pets. My pibble is the best.

    • hotshot says:

yea but now they are going to kill those three dogs….def not fair. all they have done was be great pets. unfortunate they were used in this situation and environment but I think it is absolute ridiculous how we treat these situations. It’s 2016, they should be allowed to be given to responsible pet owners and transferred to a loving home instead of put to sleep….They have done nothing wrong…punish the owner/thief/drug dealer!!! Just my $0.02

      • Zevon says:

They’re not “pets”. They’re vicious violent guard dogs. The reason alleged criminals have them is obvious. It’s nothing to do with them being “pets”. Use some common sense.

        • paget resident says:

I can assure you these dogs were sweet and friendly.
          sadly they will be destroyed.

        • Mr. Open your small mind!! says:

Wow Donald Trump reads bernews!!! Impressive!! So u saying that pit bulls are like How every Muslim is a terrorist and every black person a drug dealer every Portuguese person cut grass and all Indians wait tables? Don’t b dumb! You can’t blame a dog for its owners actions!

        • AYS says:

Have YOU ever met a pitbull – or do you blindly follow whatever the news tells you about these dogs? Pitbulls can be sweet, loving, playful pets JUST LIKE ANY OTHER DOG.

    • Whit says:

Pitbulls like any breed are only vicious if their awful owners make them this way. They can’t be classified one way only. Sad. They probably had an awful life

    • AYS says:

Vicious guard dogs? Have you ever interacted with a pitbull???? Ever?

Or is this fear of pits influenced by biased media?

Pitbulls are just like any other dog – they are trained to be a certain way.

  6. D says:

    Good job bps

  7. Oh,I see now says:

    Bout time

I hope you and the hood get some much deserved sleep tonight wave good bye to your nightmare.

  8. Triangle Drifter says:

Busy day for the BPS. Good work. Lets hope the courts back you up.

  9. Concerned says:

Now sadly the dogs will most likely be put down because they are deemed vicious all because of the pitbull name. Great that action has been taken against people committing crimes but now innocent lives will be lost.

  10. serengeti says:

    Hell yeah. Great news.

  11. mmm says:

Now that the police have done their jobs, well done, may the Courts take extreme measures to safe-guard the interests of the neighborhood, remand them and give early early court dates. Some matters take almost two years before the trial begins. I dont want to hear not my son, the police dont just randomly place people before the Court.

  12. Concerned says:

    Shame shame

  13. Can't fool me says:

Comments section is always a laugh

  14. Crystal says:

Long overdue! Hallelujah! It’s about time the BPS finally dealt with that vile scab who’s been plaguing the area for what seems an eternity. He won’t stop, but hopefully neither will the BPS. May the courts throw the book at him and his accomplices!

  15. hadders says:

  16. know dat says:

Would be nice to see them raid a bank for once and get some real criminals.

  17. hughsedsow says:

The Police Service is about serving The Crown and protecting The Crown’s Property.

Are you property of the Crown?
    smh.

Most of y’all have no clue where you fit into the system into which you perpetuate.

    Slow boiling frogs.

  18. Frank says:

Has anyone seen anyone go before the courts or anything more about this?
