Ball Hockey League: Mooseheads & Giants Win

A total of 21 goals were scored in a double header at the PCC Hockey Rink as the Bermuda Ball Hockey 2015/16 Season continued.

Sarnia Sting 4 Halifax Mooseheads 7

In the First Period the Halifax Mooseheads took a early 2 – 0 lead with goals off the sticks of Jordan Gunter and Kyle Chisholm, but Cory Caouette would pull a goal back for the Sarnia Sting to make it 2 – 1, a second goal from Gunter and a strike from Jeffrey Ingelman for the Sarnia Sting made the score at the horn 3 – 2 to the Mooseheads.

The Halifax Mooseheads opened the game wide open in the Second Period as they scored three times and restricted the Sarnia Sting to only one goal. Gunter would complete his hat-trick with the first Halifax Mooseheads goal in the Second Period, which was followed by goals from Ryan Sulley and Troy Dort, while Andrew Leavy scored the lone goal in the Period for the Sarnie Sting.

The Final Period produced only two goals. Brian Keats scored for the Halifax Mooseheads, while Ingleman scored for the Sarnia Sting, the Mooseheads would take the win 7 – 4.

Vancouver Giants 6 Oshawa Generals 4

The Vancouver Giants got a hat-trick from Chris Scott and single strikes from Christopher Jackson, Warren Miller and Stephen Chin in their 6 – 4 win over the Oshawa Generals. Craig Macneil, Jeremy Estey, JM Tremblay and Bill Calko all scored in a losing cause.
