Basketball League: Hoopstars & Twisters Win
Yet another double header took place in the Cellone Island Basketball League at the CedarBridge Academy, with 167 points scored on the night.
In the opener the Hoopstars and Rimrockers took to the court with the Hoopstars recording their 3rd win of the season with a 45 – 41 win. The Hoopstars were led to victory by Junior Warner with 10 points, while Dave Middleton scored a game high 15 points for the Rimrockers.
In the second game of the night the 15 & 2 Twisters defeated the Court Kings 52 – 29. Kevin Stephens led the Twisters once again in the scoring department pouring in a game high 20 points, while the Court Kings were led by Cameron James with 11 points.
