Corporation Of St. George Launch New Website
The Corporation of St. George announced today that they have launched a new website – corpstgeorge.bm – designed specifically to provide the public with relevant information and regular updates on town management matters.
“This website is a continuation of their communication strategy to keep businesses and residents better informed and includes official notices regarding Corporation services infrastructure repairs, and street closures, plus updates on events and activities in the town,” the Corporation said.
The Worshipful Mayor Quinell Francis said, “The Town Hall Notice board has historic significance and will continue to feature Corporation notices, however I am delighted to announce that our new website is up and running and is a welcomed outlet for circulating relevant information to our residents and businesses of the Town.”
The Corporation of St. George’s communication and outreach plan also includes regular Town Hall Meetings – two have been held since Mayor Francis was elected in May 2015.
“We are leading many revitalization initiatives and infrastructure development projects in the town and our goal is to ensure that everyone stays informed,” Mayor Francis continued. “The website and town hall meetings are a part of this strategy, and we hope to find other ways to connect with our stakeholders as well.”
