The Bermuda Cricket Board [BCB] announced the national senior team training squad that will be preparing for ICC World Cricket League later this year. The squad will train under new National Coach Clay Smith.

Gershon Gibbons, Chairman of the BCB High Performance Committee said: “I am very pleased at the increased number of players that are showing a keen interest to help move Bermuda back up the world rankings.

“The BCB is confident that if the squad can fully embrace the thorough and professional program designed for their preparation by the High Performance Committee then good results will follow.”

  1. Bermuda cricket says:

Its over for bermuda cricket give up dumb dumbs lol #

  2. me says:

No offense to Janeiro and David Hemp, both of whom are class cricketers, but isn’t it time to say enough when it comes to your international cricket careers? The BCB says they select them for their experience in the side…OK, weren’t they the “experienced” players when we were demoted all the way down to Div 4? I know there is plenty of blame to go around, but maybe it’s time for a completely new crop of players. Build around Dion, Malachi, Allan, Rodney as your senior/experienced players. Just my opinion.
