Polaris Appoints George Thomas As Director
In a filing with the Bermuda Stock Exchange, Polaris Holding Company Limited announced the appointment of a new director. The filing stated, “Polaris Holding Company Ltd., parent Company for Stevedoring Services Limited, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. George Thomas Jr. as its newest director.”
Mr. Thomas, a Bermudian, brings his vast experience as a business strategist, negotiator and advisor in global markets including North America, Asia and Europe to the Polaris Board.
Commenting on the appointment, Chairman Mrs. Cheryl Hayward-Chew noted that “the Polaris Board of Directors is excited to have Mr. Thomas amongst its membership. This is another critical step towards the diversification of the Polaris Brand.”
Great appointment.
Mr. Thomas has amassed a wealth of international experience while living and working overseas.
Through all of this his commttment to Bermuda has never faded and he spends quite alot of time back home here helping Bermuda in many different ways, from marketing with the BDA to launcing platforms for higher education, George is committed.
