GOOD there is a variety of activities & sports here. Can this one lead to a Bermudian getting a field or ice hockey scholarship or playing semi pro to pro hockey?

The Bermuda Ball Hockey Association has been a member of the International Street and Ball Hockey Federation (ISBHF) for 15+ plus years and has represented Bermuda in tournaments accross the map including Cayman, USA, Canada, Slovakia and Czech Republic. In 2013 they attended the World Championships in St John’s, Newfoundland, Canada where they won the Gold in the B pool. They moved up to the A pool for the 2015 World Championships in Zug, Switzerland. Bermuda played Switzerland in the opening game in front of a crowd of 8200+ (not too bad for a team with the average age of 36). You can watch the game on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pmpe0GZA2-c

It would be very difficult and expensive for the island to sustain a ice rink, the cost alone for the energy needed to preserve the ice could not be covered by rental fees.
