Basketball: Flyboys & Crossfire Ballers Win
The most recent round of Cellone Island Basketball League action inside the CedarBridge Academy Gymnasium saw another double header that produced a total of 218 points.
In the opener, the Court Kings took on the hottest team in the league the Flyboys. The Flyboys came into the game having claimed a record 15 wins in a row, and following the game they have now won 16 straight defeating the Court Kings 65 – 51.
The Flyboys were led to victory by Kieron Burgess with a game high 23 points, while the Court Kings got 13 points from Shawn Furlong.
In the second game the Crossfire Ballers defeated the Rimrockers 54 – 48/ The Crossfire Ballers got 21 points from Markus Robinson, while the Rimrockers were led by Derrick Hendrickson with 13 points.
