Bermuda Rugby Football Union Weekend Results

Action in the Bermuda Rugby Football Union League continued this weekend at the National Sports Center with two ladies games that produced 5 points, while the men’s double header produced 92 points.

In the ladies division the Renegades got a lone try from Jessica Cassidy as they defeated the Mariners 1 – 0, while the Teachers defeated the Police 3 – 1.

The Teachers got single tries from Najee Pitt-Clarke, Lauren Rothwell and Gillian Cross, while the Police’s lone try came when Jo Godfrey went over.

In the men’s division, the Renegades defeated the Mariners 41 – 7. The Renegades got 3 tries from Jahan Cedenio, while Jamie Baum added 2 tries and John Quigley went over once, Brian Archibald kicked 4 conversions and 1 penalty as well. The Mariners got a try from Darien Hewey and a conversion from Rory Dublin.

The Police got the better of the Teachers recording a 32 – 12 victory. Adam Richards scored two tries for the Police, while Adam Rossides and Mike Halbert added a try each.

Dan Cole and Mike Kane kicked a penalty each, while Cole kicked 2 conversions and Kane added the other. The Teachers got a try each from Jahneiko Francis and Conor McGowan, with McGowan also kicking a conversion.
