Harneys Pledge Financial Support For Ag Show

February 9, 2016

Harneys Bermuda has pledged its financial support to the upcoming Agricultural Show, which is set to take place at the Botanical Gardens from April 14 – 16, 2016.

“The AG Show Ltd - registered charity number 968 was established in Bermuda last year as a not for profit company limited by guarantee,” the event organisers said.

“This year’s show is being produced through a public–private initiative formalised through memorandum of Understanding between the AG Show Ltd and the Government of Bermuda.

“The much needed financial support will assist with offsetting the cost of hosting this year’s show. Established last February the AG Show Ltd and its committee members along with the Government of Bermuda have been hard at work with the logistical planning and promotion of the show.”

Sarah-Jane Hurrion, Managing Partner of Harneys Bermuda, commented: “Harneys is delighted to sponsor the Bermuda Agricultural Exhibition. It is a culturally significant celebration that enriches the lives of exhibitors and attendees alike.

“As part of our work within the community, Harneys supports and promotes the arts and culture, and we are pleased to partner with like-minded organisations and events.

“Our commitment to Bermuda extends beyond building a leading full-service legal and fiduciary practice to making a positive impact in our community, and we look forward to attending this year’s event,” added Ms Hurrion.

Harneys Bermuda joins the list of local and international companies who have pledged their support in ensuring the success of this year’s show, and anyone wanting to sponsor the event should contact the Show Secretary Mica Murray on 524-7469 or secretary@theagshowbda.com.

This is wonderful to see – thank you Harney’s. Government steps back and our community steps in.

I trust the list of annual sponsors and donors continues to grow in recognition of the current community leadership of this significant cultural event.
