Bermudian model Lily Lightbourn has taken on London Fashion Week [LFW] for the second consecutive year after being selected to model for some of the biggest designers in the industry and subsequently appearing on popular websites and social media platforms, including Vogue UK, Vogue Italia, Cosmopolitan UK, and more.

A spokesperson said, “There are hundreds of ladies that are seen during castings over the whole LFW period, and Lily emphasizes how grateful she is to have booked five shows this season. She walked in runway shows during LFW including Paul Costelloe, Palmer Harding, AF Vandervorst, Vivienne Westwood, and Emilio De La Morena.”

“While Lily notes the experiences of both this year and last year’s fashion week were amazing, this time around she was more familiar with the city [London] and knew how to get about much easier.

“Additionally, she experienced working with different designers and shows this year, with Lily describing the moments just before she stepped out on the runway by saying, ‘I always says a prayer and take one last smile before I walk out, it helps me to calm down.’

Ms. Lightbourn said, “It was an honor to walk with the great and talented Vivienne Westwood. I could feel goose bumps as we did the final walk together. Definitely one of my favorite moments; the energy and excitement in the room was crazy.”

“London Fashion Week is over, but that hasn’t slowed down this fierce model. Lily is still busy on the scene, making rounds and working on multiple fashion projects, most recently doing an e‐commerce shoot for Topshop and appearing on the British retailer’s website.”
