Um yo boss, that’s not the school they’re talking about closing.

  2. Darryl says:

Grateful that this ended well for students and staff. Prayers for their continued safety…Thank you Police for your quick response.

    • Sick & Tired says:

Sorry, I don’t think waiting for 30 minutes after calling 911 for an intruder on school premises is a quick response.

    Scary!!

A lot of locals like to entertain our mentally ill population and post them on social media as if they are heroes, as if everything is all fun and games. Too many dangerous people walking around our streets when they need to be locked up as they are a danger to the community but in typical Bermudian fashion we will wait until something horrible happens before we change things.

I’m afraid of the ones that are setting policies for our island.

    • Whimsical says:

There are so called “normal” people walking around that are dangerous as well….Let’s not just put this type of behaviour on the mentally ill……

    • SweetSaltyOnion [[SSO]] says:

I have noticed this in Bermuda. Bums who frequent Front Street who are a menace to businesses are sensationalized! Very odd indeed. But I guess it is easier to laugh than admit there are mental health issues in Bermuda.

  5. Teacher says:

Glad the BPS caught him. He was lurking around Purvis for a few days and when the police arrived he left.

  6. Ann says:

Maybe the church goers should pray for these folk and stop worrying about same sex marriage.

  7. Susan says:

I’m technically a member of the mentally ill population…. I’m not dangerous… I don’t need to be locked up. Most mentally ill are not dangerous. In fact studies show people with mental illness are more vulnerable and more likely to be victims than aggressors. Society does not lock people up simply because they have a mental illness. 1 in 4 people will at some point suffer from a mental illness… There is no shame in going to mawi to sort out a mental condition just as there is no shame in going to kemh for a physical condition. I hope this person receives the help they need to be well.

Such a bleeding heart! You all know exactly what I am referring to and who I am referring to. We are not talking about people with depression or anxiety but those riding around the city on bicycles harassing people. The mentally ill population who go around begging and being aggressive towards others. Stop being foolish.
