Volunteers Sought For Acne Laser Therapy Study

Aerolase and Northshore Medical & Aesthetics Center [NMAC] have teamed up to study Acne Treatments, and are seeking volunteers.

Dr. Kyjuan Brown, NMAC Medical Director and Professor Hywel Williams Research Award Recipient, is calling for 20 patients with darker skin tones, to undergo Laser Therapy for the treatment of Acne.

“Each participant must commit to bi-weekly treatments and follow the post-treatment instructions. Pictures and/or video would be taken before each treatment, which would ultimately be published in a professional journal and presented in professional conferences,” NMAC said.

“For the past year, I have been treating patients of color successfully with the Aerolase 1064nm laser. I am humbled and honored to be commissioned by Aerolase to formally study and document my results which will later hopefully be publish,” said Dr. Brown.
