BFA Current Stats, Standings & Goalscorers

Following a weekend of First and Premier Division football, the updated standings and goalscorers are below.

First Division

The Somerset Eagles were crowned the 2015-16 First Division League Champions following their 6 – 0 win over Wolves and previous leaders Flanagan’s Onions falling 3-1 to St. David’s, Somerset Eagles, finished with 39 points, while the Flanagan’s Onions finished with 37 points, St. George’s Colts finished in third place with 35 points.

Clay Darrell from the Young Men Social Club finished as the League Leading goalscorer with 20 goals, while Nathan Rego from Somerset Eagles finished with 19 goals, Treshun Smith from Flanagan’s Onions finished with 13 goals on the season along with Saki Tuzo from Young Men Social Club and Jarazhino Bassett from the St. George’s Colts. Allan Douglas Jr. from St. David’s finished with 12 goals.

Premier Division

The Dandy Town Hornets are the 2015-16 Premier Division Champions, but all eyes will be on the relegation side of the table. Southampton Rangers gave themselves a fighting chance of survival with their 3 – 0 win over relegated Hamilton Parish, they will face the PHC Zebras in their final game, they are one point behind the Devonshire Colts and two points behind the Somerset Trojans. Devonshire Colts will face the Boulevard Blazers and the Somerset Trojans face Robin Hood.

Lejuan Simmons from Robin Hood, Donavan Thompson from Hamilton Parish and Tomiko Goater from the Dandy Town Hornets are the League’s leading goalscorers with 12 goals, while Casey Castle and Cecoy Robinson from the PHC Zebras both have 10 goals. Ian Coke from the Boulevard Blazers and Angelo Simmons from the Dandy Town Hornets both have 9 goals, with TiaeVince Douglas from Boulevard Blazers, Lozendro Symonds from the Devonshire Colts and Jonathan Bean from the Somerset Trojans all have 8 goals.
