Bermuda’s Top 50 Twitter List For March 2016

Twitter is expected to roll out its new timeline on March 3 according to VentureBeat.

On Thursday users can expect to be able to embed profiles, lists and collections with the new timeline. An official Twitter blog said Tweeters “need a powerful visual storytelling tool to truly engage your users, so we’ve built an embedded grid which displays your curated content in a rich, responsive, media-forward format,” All new timelines will be upgraded automatically.

There was quote a bit of movement on the Bermuda twitter list. There were two new entries with musical group Thirdstory entering the list at 31. The boy band features Bermudian Ben Lusher. Also climbing into the top 50 was We Are Bermuda at 49th.

Elsewhere, Shaun Goater moved up one notch dropping Bermuda Tourism into 13th place. Artemis Racing sailed past Forbes journalist Clare O’Connor into 16th. XL Catlin climbed one rung one into 21st, bumping The Royal Gazette down one. DJ Genie moved from 29th to 27th and Ente Turismo Bermuda promoted itself into 29th from 30th. Bermuda’s most popular cat, Walt E Bobs, clawed its way up two spots to 38th.

There were also several milestones reached as Webster Butler surpassed 20,000 followers. Walt E Bobs and Gideon Kigotho both reached the 5,000 follower mark.
