Women’s Futsal League: PHC & Dandy Stars Win

In the most recent round of women’s futsal action PHC beat YMSC 25 to 1 in the first game. PHC jumped out to a commanding lead in the first half, scoring 15 unanswered goals. YMSC had no answer to a focused PHC who scored 10 more goals in the second half.

YMSC did however prevent the shut out with Kelechi Jones scoring the single goal for YMSC. Micah Pond was the most outstanding player for PHC scoring 7 goals, with Jaissa Smith in goal for YMSC their most impressive player.

In the second game, Dandy Stars further cemented their league leading position by overcoming SCC 12 to 4. Stars jumped out to a quick lead in the first half scoring 8 to SCC’s 3 goals.

In the second half, Stars scored 4 more goals to SCC’s 1 to win the game comfortably. Shauntae Todd was the MVP for Stars scoring 5 goals while Dazhja Greaves was outstanding for SCC scoring 2 goals.
