March 2016: Top 10 Bernews “Photo Of Day”
Bernews features a “Photo of the Day” in our email newsletter, social media and app each morning, giving readers a taste of the island to start their day.
Always popular, March’s top photos attracted thousands of likes and shares on social media, and judging by the number of readers’ “likes”, the month’s most popular photos included shots showing the beauty of Bermuda, a parrot fish seen cruising through a wave on a sunny day, a spectacular view from the North Shore and more.

This shot of clear island waters proved to be the most popular photo of the month, attracting more than 820 shares and likes on Facebook.
2] Parrot Fish
A parrot fish cruises through a wave on a sunny day in this photo, attracting more than 800 likes and shares.
3] North Shore
A spectacular view from the North Shore on a Monday afternoon earned more than 800 likes and shares.
4] Natural Bermuda
This shot of foliage, water, and blue skies earned more than 800 likes and shares from our Facebook followers.
5] South Shore
This shot of the beautiful south shore of Bermuda attracted more than 750 likes and shares on Facebook, claiming fifth position on this month’s list.
6] West End
This beautiful sunset in the west end received more than 690 likes and shares on Facebook.
7] Waves Roll In
Waves rolling in against the rocky south shore in Warwick made it onto March’s top 10 list, earning more than 670 likes and shares.
8] Azure Clouds
Even a cloudy day in Bermuda is beautiful, with this photo garnering more than 650 likes and shares on Facebook.
9] View of Hamilton
A beautiful view of Hamilton on a Monday afternoon comes in at number nine with almost 620 likes and shares on Facebook.
10] Southlands Beach
March’s top ten list rounds out with a beautiful afternoon at Southlands Beach, which earned more than 560 likes and shares on Facebook.
