Coinciding with April being marked as Child Abuse Prevention Month, a song called ‘The Promise’ — performed by Gita Blakeney-Saltus and Preston Swan — has been released, with its message of love and hope aiming to benefit charity.

The song was written and produced for The Coalition for the Protection of Children, with the original song organized by Kit Swainson and written by Tom Anthony, and arranged and recorded by Just Platinum.

The full song will be available on iTunes and a brief sample is below:

CPC’s Sheelagh Cooper said, “The song will be available on iTunes next week and is available now from the Coalition in CD form; proceeds from the song will be shared between The Coalition and Pathways Bermuda.

“This is an inspiring song of love and of hope that reminds us to commit ourselves as individuals and as a caring community to nurture, guide, and support our precious children.”
