BIU Meeting This Evening For Bus Operators
There will be a meeting at BIU Headquarters at 7.30pm tonight [May 11] for all bus operators and allied workers, with the meeting aiming to “ratify proposed rosters.”
The flyer said, “There will be a meeting tonight, Wednesday May 11, 2016. For all bus operators and allied workers. 7:30pm shar. BIU Headquarters. Agenda – Ratify Proposed Rosters. By request of Bro. Louis Somner, Divisional Organizer.”

Just imagine if we didnt have Unions, unfair practice of workers rights and cheap labour would be rampant.

I agree that it’s refreshing that the meeting will be held in the evening and not disrupt the majority of workers who depend on the bus service during the day.
