MarketPlace Gives MPs Bermuda Day Cake
In keeping with its annual tradition, the MarketPlace Ltd. presented the House of Assembly with a specially made cake in honour of the upcoming Bermuda Day holiday earlier today [May 20].
“The public will recall that this year’s Heritage Month and Bermuda Day Parade theme is a Tapestry of Cultures, and imagery on the cake depicted a variety of images synonymous with Bermuda’s cultural heritage,” a spokesperson said.
“Presenting the cake on behalf of the MarketPlace Ltd. to Premier Michael Dunkley, House of Assembly Speaker, Randolph Horton and several Members of Parliament was Ronnette Burgess.”
