Photos: Bermuda Regiment Trains In Jamaica

May 8, 2016

More than 200 troops from the Royal Bermuda Regiment [RBR] recently took part in two weeks of intensive training in Jamaica, taking part in a number of activities while visiting the island.

The soldiers, together with officers from the Bermuda Police Service and St John Ambulance personnel, settled into the unfamiliar surroundings last month.

While visiting Jamaica, the group’s activities included training with Jamaican Defense Force medical experts and in the island’s jungles, and riding the Rio Grande, with Governor George Fergusson and Junior Minister for National Security Jeff Baron touring the sites in Jamaica used by the RBR earlier this month.
