[Updated with video] The second annual Bermuda Heroes Weekend continues today [June 20] with the Raft Up now underway in the Great Sound, with boaters mingling and enjoying the festivities. Today’s Raft Up is part of the Bermuda Heroes Weekend, and follows after Five Star Friday, J’Ouvert, and the Parade of Bands.

Looks like everyone is having a good time. I hope the organizers had a fleet of boats going round picking up all the glass and plastic bottles and other trash that was being thrown overboard by the revelers on some of the party boats.

Love a party! and looks like alot of fun!….but does the music have to be so loud that it disturbs the peace in 3 parishes? I can take it for an hour or two, but seriously, 8 hours??? I know people who have left their homes to go to get a bit of peace and quiet…can’t we just be a little more considerate. Turn it down a notch or two…and party till you drop….I just don’t see the need to have it so loud that I can’t relax and enjoy my day in my own house. TURN IT DOWN PLEASE.
